Function Room & Lounge Hire in Warrington
The WSC Function Room has two rooms for hire at Warrington Sports Club, in parkland just outside Stockton Heath. The Function Room takes up to 160 guests and has a raised stage, a dance floor and a fully stocked bar. The Lounge takes up to 150 with full bar service, as a reception space or a function room on its own. For smaller groups, we can set the Function Room up for up to 30.

What is the Function Room like?
It’s a bright, airy room with floor-to-ceiling windows along two walls, looking out over woodland. It takes up to 160 guests and has a raised stage with audiovisual facilities, a separate dance floor and a fully stocked bar.
It suits weddings, birthdays, corporate events and private parties. For smaller gatherings of up to 30, such as family get-togethers, baby showers and wakes, we can arrange the room to feel more intimate.
What is the Lounge like?
The Lounge is a relaxed space for up to 150 guests, with full bar service. You can use it as a reception area alongside the Function Room, or book it on its own for a drinks reception, a networking event or a social evening.

What equipment and facilities are there?
The Function Room has a raised stage with audiovisual facilities and a dance floor, and we have microphones, a sound system and a projector for speeches and presentations. You’re welcome to bring your own entertainment, and we can recommend local DJs and bands.
You can decorate the room to suit your event, as long as nothing damages the walls (no nails, tape that marks, or confetti). The venue has step-free access and accessible facilities.
What food and drink can you provide?
We offer hot and cold buffets, sit-down meals and bespoke menus, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary options on request. Outside food may be allowed for some events, so ask us when you enquire.
There is a fully licensed bar on site. Bringing your own alcohol isn’t permitted under our licensing regulations.
Where is the venue, and is there parking?
We’re at Warrington Sports Club, Walton Lea Road, Walton, Warrington WA4 6SJ, in parkland just outside Stockton Heath, with good links to the M6, M56 and M62.
There is ample free parking on site for you and your guests. The venue has step-free access and accessible facilities; if a guest has specific needs, let us know in advance.
How much does room hire cost?
It depends on which room you book, the kind of event and the date. Send us your preferred date and guest numbers and we’ll come back with prices and availability. A deposit confirms your booking.
