Your Christmas Party at The WSC
How many guests can you take?
Up to 160 guests in the Function Room. It has floor-to-ceiling windows along two walls looking out over woodland, a separate dance floor and a raised stage for a band, a DJ or speeches.
The Lounge takes up to 150 guests with full bar service, as a party space of its own or for drinks alongside the Function Room. For a smaller team or family meal, the Function Room can be set up for around 30.
Do you host work Christmas parties?
Yes. Companies book us for Christmas parties, awards nights and end-of-year celebrations. The raised stage, microphones and sound system make speeches and awards easy to run, and the dance floor is there for when the formal part is over.
Families and groups of friends book us for Christmas get-togethers and reunions too. For birthdays and other celebrations through the year, see our party venue hire page.
What food and drink can you provide?
We offer hot and cold buffets, sit-down meals and bespoke menus, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary options on request. Outside food may be allowed for some events, so ask us when you enquire.
There is a fully licensed bar on site. Bringing your own alcohol isn’t permitted under our licensing regulations.
Can we bring our own DJ and decorate the room?
Yes, you’re welcome to arrange your own entertainment, and we can recommend local DJs and bands if you need them. The stage, sound system, microphones and dance floor also suit live music, quiz nights and themed parties.
You can decorate the room for Christmas. We just ask for non-damaging decorations: no nails, no tape that marks the walls, and no confetti.
Where is the venue, and is there parking?
We’re at Warrington Sports Club, Walton Lea Road, Walton, Warrington WA4 6SJ, in parkland just outside Stockton Heath, with good links to the M6, M56 and M62.
There is ample free parking on site for you and your guests. The venue has step-free access and accessible facilities; if a guest has specific needs, let us know in advance.
How much does a Christmas party cost?
Send us your preferred date and guest numbers and we’ll come back with prices and availability. A deposit confirms your booking, and the amount depends on the event and the date.
The easiest way to start is a visit: call us on 01925 263210 or send an enquiry and we’ll arrange a time to show you around.
